If you have PLED GUILTY to a SEX OFFENSE that occurred AFTER August 28, 2006, then you need to be made aware that effective January 1, 2017, there have been dramatic changes in the Missouri statutes that would REQUIRE YOU TO BE ON LIFETIME SUPERVISION WITH THE MISSOURI BOARD OF PROBATION & PAROLE INCLUDING GPS MONITORING!!! This is being interpreted as including persons who have already completed their period of probation/parole!!!
Section 575.206, Revised Statutes of Missouri states that it is a CLASS D FELONY to violate conditions of LIFETIME SUPERVISION. Sections 559.106 and 217.735, RSMo., lists out the following offenses (if the act occurred AFTER August 28, 2006) as requiring Lifetime Supervision by MBPP, with GPS Monitoring: Rape-1st Degree, Statutory Rape-1st Degree, Sodomy-1st Degree, Statutory Sodomy-1st Degree, Child Molestation-1st Degree, Sexual Misconduct w/a Child, Sexual Abuse-1st Degree, Enticement of a Child, and Incest. Additionally, if you have pleaded guilty to one of the following offenses that occurred on or after January 1, 2017, wherein the victim was less than 14 years old and you are a prior offender then you would also be forced to be on Lifetime Supervision with GPS Monitoring: Child Molestation-2nd & 3rd Degrees, Sexual Trafficking of a Child-1st & 2nd Degrees, Child Used in a Sexual Performance, and Promoting Sexual Performance by a Child.
